1912 Events

The Childrens Festival took place on September 14th 1912 on the green at the Circle behind the Moor Pool Hall. The green is now the tennis courts for the Circle Tennis Club.

Below is a postcard to Mrs Shirkell of 23 Margaret Grove. In it her friend Pat says 'all out at rehersal I expect'. Was this referring to the original theatrical group?
