Moor Pool Council

The picture shows the Moor Pool Council of 1910. Not sure what the function of the Council was or who organised them. More information on this would be appreciated. The group are on the Moor Pool Tennis Club shale courts and behind is the first property on the right in Moor Pool Avenue. On the wall is a plate which says Harborne Tenants Office. At this time the building at the Circle including the Estate Office were still under construction. I know this house from when the Hartles lived there and their son Alex and our son David who were the same age used to go to and from Station Road school together.

Who was the lady? Is she wearing a sash of office? Who were the others?

We know that far right on the back row is George Frost who lived at 40 Moor Pool Avenue. His grandson, Mike Frost has served as a committee member of the Moor Pool Residents Association for many years and is also well known as 'Major Mustard'.
