Moor Pool Festival 2009
In 2009 the Moor Pool Residents Association held the first Moor Pool Festival as a part of Heritage Open Day and to promote and showcase the Estate and the various community clubs and facilities. The focus of the event was the Moor Pool Hall which had tables manned by various clubs and societies with directions to the actual individual venues. Talks were given on the history of the Estate with home made cakes and refreshments all provided by volunteers.
