Memories of local residents are an important part of the Estates history. Those memories can recall the stories behind events or ways of life quite different to today. Today will become the history for tomorrow so its key we keep an archive of the life of the Estate. So many pictures taken in the past must have been consigned to the proverbial 'skip' or passed on perhaps without a knowledge of what they are about so they become meaningless. This website and content is a start in collating and making publically available the Estates history.
