Visiting the Moor Pool Garden Suburb

There is far more to Moor Pool than just the Hall. The whole Estate is an experiment in planning and the vision of John Sutton Nettlefold who wished to establish a blueprint for a far better urban environment compared to the back to back slums which were prevalent in the City. Moor Pool incorporates many Garden Suburb design principles which followed from the Garden Cities movement inspired by Ebenezer Howard.

Tours of the Estate can be arranged by the Hall Manager for groups or individuals wishing to see the Estate.

There is wheelchair access into the hall via the side entrance.

Externally there is parking on the public road. The roads of the Moor Pool Estate are narrow.

If you would like to have a Talk given to your group or society I would be happy to do so subject to arrangement. I can be contacted here
